Behavior as an Iceberg: Looking Deeper

When we consider theories of psychology that name desire for significance, belonging, and secure bonds as motivation for human behavior, we can look at antisocial behavior in kids differently. In contrast to “being bad” looking below the iceberg helps us understand kids are simply trying to meet their emotional needs in unskillful ways.
